British boxer David Hay, claiming to champion titles in the heavyweight, criticized the fight between the IBF and WBO champion Vladimir Klichko and Ruslan Chagaevym.
It should be noticed that originally it was supposed to be Hey Klichko’s opponent in a fight on the 60 thousandth football stadium in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, and all tickets for this evening of boxing was already sold when, in early June Hay injured his back and refused to enter the ring. Klichko’s team refused to change the date of the fight with Hay and found a replacement in the face of British Chagaev Ruslan, who refused to continue the fight after the ninth round. For some of the audience members, this was a real disappointment. Certainly, some of the audience had come especially to see Hay.
