The scheme for distribution of income in the UEFA European League season 2011/12 is approved
Basing on commercial terms for today, it is expected that the gross trading profit for the European League-2011/12 will reach approximately 200 million Euros.
Consequently, the system of income distribution is based on these numbers.
75% of the profits earned by UEFA from the sale of media rights and commercial contracts, will go to the participants of the group stage.
The remaining 25% are reserved for European football.
UEFA will use this money to meet the logistical and administrative costs.
If a commercial profit is 200 million Euros, the index of clubs will be equal to 150 million Euros.
Of these, 90 million Euros will be fixed payments.
60 million Euros from the marketing pool will be distributed among the participants of the main draw of the European League, according to the relative weight of countries on the TV market.
Each club will get 640 000 Euros for reaching the group stage plus 60 000 Euros for each completed match at this stage.
The victory will add 140 thousand Euros to the club treasury, draw – 70 thousand Euros.
Participation in the 1/16 will bring 200 thousand Euros to the team, in 1/8 finals – 300 000 Euros, in the quarter finals – 400 000 Euros, 1/2 finals – 700 000 Euros.
The winner of European Champions League will receive three million Europa, the second finalist will get two million Euros.
It is expected that the participants of the group stage will receive at least one million Euros and the winner can earn 6.44 million Euros, not counting the bonus from the marketing pool.
